I want to say that we will attend an event, but it's raining (now) and some people might think we are not going.

My try:

We are going to go although it's raining.

Is this correct? (use of "although" and punctuation, do I need a comma?)

Thanks
"Even though" would be better. "Although" is better for making a concession: "We're planning on going, although there is a possibility of rain."
We are going to go even though it's raining.
Any punctuation? --> ... go, even ... ?

The comma is optional there. It would depend on whether you spoke it with a bit of a pause after "go."
