¿Cómo traduzco aparejador al inglés?
- architectural technician?
- civil engineer?
- surveyor? (o eso es más bien perito? ¿Cúal es la diferencia?)

Aparejador is an old term for present Arquitecto Técnico, although Arquitectos Técnicos are coloquially called Aparejadores. But... in the post-Bolonia (European Union University new directives and legislation) era, both Arquitectos Técnicos and Aparejadores dissappear in the nomenclator (and from Spanish universities studies), and now they become Ingenieros de Edificación.
So, Aparejador and/or Arquitecto Técnico should be translated from now on as Building Engineers.
Wordreference should update their dictionary and include Building Engineer as the new meaning for both Aparejador and Arquitecto Técnico (the latter does not appear). Aparejador is no more a Quantity Surveyor (in fact, never was; it was a poor translation justified by the inexistance of an equivalent degree in the UK).
Agrimensor is never an Aparejador--now Ingeniero de Edificación. It is closer to a Topógrafo or to a Ingeniero Técnico Agrícola.
