In a recent post a student wanted to know which sentence was correct. 'I arrive at the Station now,' or 'I have arrived at the Station now.'

Can someone please advise me, thank you?
Welcome to the forum, NewOrator.

Both sentences are grammatically correct, but they mean different things. Unfortunately, each one has multiple possible meanings, so we need context before we can say which sentence, if either, fits the situation the student had in mind.
