Can I use both or is it better if I just say "as following"?
Unfortunately, I also made lots of mistakes and I think that it´s appropriate to mention them (as following) (further below)

"As following" sounds fine (albeit very formal). I think that "further below" would indicate that you're writing something, not speaking, and that you're going to talk about the mistakes a lot later. I'd stick with "as following".

Also, a quick note: I think it makes more sense to say "a lot of mistakes" (or "a multitude" for an essay) as opposed to "lots of mistakes".

Sí, pero en un texto escrito "below" es más común.
