Avocation / vocation

I didn't find avocation in the WordReference. So, I thought of creating this thread.

Your avocation is just your hobby; don’t mix it up with your job: your vocation.

And, hobby in Italian is a hobby o un passatempo

And, vocation in Italian is una vocazione o un lavoro

Right?

(According to Oxford Paravia, occupazione can also refer to leisure activity).

Actually also avocation can be translated as occupazione, but only secondaria (Hazon):
1 (non com.) passatempo, svago; occupazioni secondarie: armies gave little disturbance to the peaceful avocations, (g. trevelyan) gli eserciti disturbarono poco le tranquille occupazioni secondarie.
