Basic Electrical Engineering

Hello,

I have to translate "Basic Electrical Engineering", does that mean in French, "Génie électronique élémentaire" ou "Principes fondamentaux de génie électronique". I'm even wondering if "génie" can be replaced by "ingénierie"?

Could anyone help please?

Thanks a lot in advance
Ingénierie and génie are interchangeable, but génie is mostly used for the sake of brevity. One could also say 'Génie électronique de base' but I prefer your second postulate...

Thank you CarlosRapido for your answer, so if I understand well you'll say "Principes fondamentaux de génie électronique"?
