Hello again !

I was wondering if I can say that in English : " Being aware of the importance of your work visibility, I do believe the talent and experience I have developed [..] would be beneficial at XX company"

I came up with the term in bold but I think I got that wrong.. I would like to say that putting my skills on the service of this company would be positive or judicious.. that would be a sort of fruitful move ..
That is the first sentence of a cover letter I am trying to draft.

Thank you in advance 👁 Smile :)

Hi Julien,

I like your choice of the word beneficial. I think you can re-word your opening sentence, though, to make that word work for you even better.

Can you re-write it?

I don't even understand what your message is here:
...Being aware of the importance of your work visibility...

And it seems you're wasting your very first opportunity at making a specific impression by choosing words that are quite general:
...the talent and experience I have developed...

Maybe you could start it off by stating specifically what your talent is. Then you can add the fact that this particular thing about you is what would be a beneficial addition to this company.

These are just suggestions. You should follow your own gut instinct. Good luck!

Thank for your help !

I feel ashamed because the part "Being aware of the importance of your work visibility" was made following a French structure .. 👁 Eek! :o

As you -may- know, think tanks are institutes which conduct researches or give advice to a government for example. They are used to publish their works so that a broad number of specialized people can take notice of it.

That publishing part is important, or even crucial, to a think tank. I wanted to express my awareness about it through the sentence above.
Can I say "Being fully aware of a key role of a well-published document, .. " ?

Regarding the other suggestions of AngelEyes, here is my second try :

As communication officer at XX during two years, I am fully aware of the needs of an organization working with a government. I do believe that I would be beneficial (an asset?) within your communication and media department.
I don't think you can be plain beneficial; you would need to say you are beneficial the company. (You can be various things the company; you can be beneficial someone the company.) Personally however I would slightly prefer 'of benefit to'. It's what I would say in a job application. It seems a little odd to say people are beneficial - I'd keep it for things like fertilizer being beneficial to plants, a friendly atmosphere being beneficial to discussion.
