Hello.
What do you mean by binding onto?

Here is the sentence from MSDS(Material Safety Data Sheet).
Removed > 90% by binding onto sewage sludge.

I checked out the meaning of bind and it says tie or secure.
Hello marsplastic. 👁 Smile :)

It seems to me that they are talking about a chemical process, though I may be mistaken. What are they removing? What are they removing it from?
I always think that I should've put more context after I posted it.

Siloxances are removed from water by sedimentation or binding to sewage.

Source: Our company's Material Safety Data Sheet that lists the product details such as ingredients, hazards, method of handling and disposal. The sheets are in English and I need to translate them into Korean -- but first I need to know what the English means.

Siloxances are removed by getting them to bind to sewage. Without knowing the exact process, you get siloxances to connect/bind with sewage so that there is one substance rather that two different substances.
Bind can in fact mean tie or secure, but in this case is a scientific usage which means forms a chemical bond.
The relevant meaning from the WRF dictinary is : to cohere or stick or cause to cohere or stick. The siloxanes stick very tightly to (ahere very strongly to) (some component of) the sewage.
