I wish to discuss the weather with an Italian friend;
I just heard that in July we broke thousands of records for high temperature.
While I'm at it; how do you say global warming?

in italian we say "battere un record", with the meaning of "superare" - surpass.

"global warming" - "riscaldamento globale"
