Hola:
Traduzco un curso de seguridad y no estoy segura de la interpretación de "call in" en el siguiente párrafo:
A bartender needed a full keg of beer moved. The keg weighed over 100 lbs. It was Saturday night, and they were really busy. It would take twice as long to get the bar assistant to move the keg. So he grabbed it and half lifted, half threw it above another keg on the wall. Unfortunately, he didn’t pull his hand out in time and broke a bone in his hand. There was no one for the bartender to call in, so he continued to work. Needless to say, it was a long night.
Mi intento:
...Así que lo agarró, y con un solo movimiento intentó levantarlo y aventarlo sobre otro barril en la pared. Desafortunadamente, no sacó su mano a tiempo y se fracturó un hueso. No había nadie a quien el barman pudiera pedir ayuda/llamar para que lo relevara, así que continuó con su trabajo. Sale sobrando decir que fue una noche muy larga.
¿Alguien sería tan amable de decirme cuál de mis dos opciones es correcta para este contexto por favor?
