Would anyone know of the Japanese equivalent for "case presentation"? It's when doctors present a patient's case.

Most medical dictionaries in Japanese give the same term "症例(shourei)提示(teiji) for
"case presentation." But it is only a literal translation, 症例 for "case" and 提示 for
"presentation." I don't think we have the exact equivalent for the term.

Do you think Japanese medical students would understand 症例提示？ I think it's a Western concept in the first place. Would it work in katakana (ケース・プレゼンテーション）？　Ｏｒ　ｂｅｔｔｅｒ　ｉｎ　ｋａｎｊｉ？

Google dixit ケース・プレゼンテーション is the most frequent word (2,500,000 hits). 症例呈示 is also understandable being on the order of millions.

Hi,
When medical professionals explain their each patient case in seasonal associations he/she will use 症例報告 often.
It is translated as case report in English. Case presentation is the same meaning as case report?
