Hola,

Estoy usando un poema por San Juan de la Cruz, se llama "Llama de Amor Viva."

No puedo entender una palabra: "cauterio."

Tengo la estrofa (lo siento que mi computadora no usa el espan~ol).

"Oh cauterio suave!
Oh regalada llaga!,
oh mano blanda...."

Puedes ayudarme?

I can't really think of a translation that fits both meanings, but maybe:

Oh soft healing flame!
Oh delightful sorrow!
Oh delicate touch...

Muchas gracias por la ayuda, puedo entender la idea que el cauterio significa "cauterization." Es la idea que la llama/el amor del Dios tiene mucho calor, pero es positivo y es para ayudar el alma y el corazon.
