Hi,
Mother-of-pearl is the fruit of the heavens and only lives β€Žon celestial nectar to give birth to the pale or yellowish argentinian pearl, depending on the intensity β€Žof the sun and the purest dew.
What could be meant please by "celestial nectar" here?
Surely, it has a metaphorical meaning.

Thanks,
It means nectar from the sky or of a celestial nature (celeastial - related to the sky, as it were).
Celestial = (i) from or associated with heaven or the sky (ii) remarkably fine, of the highest quality.
Nectar =(from the WRF dictionary)
  1. the sweet liquid of a plant that attracts the bees, insects, or birds that pollinate the flower.
  2. Mythology(in Greek myth) the life-giving drink of the gods.
  3. any delicious drink.
Mother of pearl is a form of calcium carbonate, which is remarkably common... πŸ‘ Roll Eyes :rolleyes:
