How would you say this in Italian?
Ooops...I think we need a lot more context here.
Can you give us some more?
sorry! By city break I mean when you go away for a (long) weekend -often abroad. ie: a short break in a city. eg: we're going on a city break to Venice.
I don't think there is an equivalent expression in Italian, you would just say:

Vado/mi faccio un weekend ad Amsterdam.
Vado qualche giorno in vacanza a Parigi.
Short break, long sentences 👁 Smile :)


Stacco per qualche giorno (e vado a Venezia)
Mi prendo qualche giorno di pausa/stop/tregua (e vado a Venezia)
Mi prendo una pausa dalla città (e vado in campagna)
Faccio una pausa di qualche giorno fuori città
Mi prendo una tregua dalla città (e me ne vado in campagna) per qualche giorno
Stacco per qualche giorno
