Hi, everybody.
In a transcript of a NPR radio program, this part exists :
WELNA: Pinnetti lives alone, and he's already begun collecting unemployment insurance. Hopes of finishing a college degree have been put on hold by the shutdown.
I understood it as collecting different kinds of insurances like when you collect stamps but I am not sure.
Would you explain about that?
