Hello.

I would like to know the difference between cross-cultural and multicultural.

a.cross-cultural society
b.multicultural society

What is the difference between them?
Please give us the sentences in which you found these phrases, or the sentence win which you plan to use one of them, with some context, so we can give you better answers.
I'll give you some examples.

a. I had cross-cultural experience in the US.
b. I had multicultural experience in the US.
Cross-cultural suggests, to me, exchange between two cultures. "Multi", in my experience, always means more than two and literally suggests many.
