Custom made vs tailor made

Hello,
I would like to ask if both expressions quoted in the thread title can be used about technical products.

Context:

Our factory produces both standardized and custom made/tailor made ventilation units.
Greetings

"Custom-made" (or "-built") is distinctly AmE.

"Tailor-made" is probably not known - or rather, somewhat choice - in this sense in BrE.

"Made-to-measure", or simply "Fitted" would apply at least in BrE throughout, especially in contrast with "standardised". (N.b. "standardized" in AmE.
