Hello I am translating a High School Transcript from Brazil.

the abbreviation D.O. is found in the following context:
Decreto de Criação No.199959 de 18/11/1969 D.O. 21/11/1969
Portaria de Alt. Designação No.151 de 29/05/2000 D.O. 31/05/2000

Does anyone have any idea what D.O. could stand for?
Talvez "Decreto Oficial"??

É possível que seja o que o almufadado disse, mas a sigla usada para se referir ao Diário Oficial da União é DOU.
Cada estado possui seu próprio Diário Oficial.
As escolas estaduais, sim. Mas há também escolas federais, não sei como essas funcionam...
Há também escolas de Ensino Fundamental com gestão municipal.
Mas a gestão das escolas é responsabilidade do estado e não da união. certo ?

Considerando o outro fio que falava em Escola Técnica Caxias do Sul, então neste caso deve ser o Diário Oficial do Estado do RS. 👁 Smile :)
Agora, a pergunta para mim é:

Como devo traduzir "diario oficial" ao inglês? Official Diary? Official Journal? Hmmm....
