Hello every one
#please guide me , which sentence is correct :
1-my television was broken 3 months ago and I don't want to buy another one .
2-my television has damaged 3 months ago and I don't want to buy another one .
*broken here not like broken (just it doesn't work anymore )
#which tense should I use?

The first sentence is the better one, but you could also say "my television broke 3 months ago and and I don't want to buy another one."

If you say it "was broken" that implies that somebody else broke it. I hope this makes sense!
If by the first sentence you mean someone broke your TV (physically wrecked it, pushed it over, hit it with a large stick....), that's fine, but if you mean that your TV stopped working then it is incorrect. Your second option is totally wrong: the passive voice uses the verb 'to be' as an auxiliary.

I'd say 'My TV stopped working/broke three months ago......': past simple tense, because you are talking about a completed action in the past.
