Le contexte:
We'll admit that our default mental pricing of a Forester still hovers somewhere in the mid to high-$20k range.

Mon interrogation:
Par "default mental pricing", veut-on dire "prix par défaut qu'on pense mentalement"? On on parle d'un prix débile mental (expression enfantine de par chez nous!)?

Quelle qu'en soit la signification, cette expression me semble très inhabituelle ndans ce contexte.Un prix qu'on a spontanément en tête/qui vient spontanément à l'esprit comme le prix d'une baguette ou d'un ticket de métro...Quoique...👁 Big Grin :D
Si vous avez suivi les questions de Johanne, vous aurez sans doute remarqué que les textes qu'elle traduit comportent souvent un vocabulaire imagé et inhabituel; ce 'defaults mental pricing' n'est rien comparé à ses offrandes habituelles...
