dime algo

Texting, for example, how can I said just at the end "dime algo" (sobre lo que te he dicho/preguntado, sobre el plan, sobre dónde estás, and so on)
I use "let me know" but is there any other way? because to me, let me know is not exactly "dime algo" it's more like "hazme saber".

(texting) "estarás en casa esta tarde para que traiga algunas cosas? dónde estás ahora? Dime algo."
Ok, i know i can use "let me know" here, but i don't want to use it. What can I use then? (formal)

Qué tal "tell me something"?

but is "tell me" cuéntame? tell me something - cuéntame algo?

sería "tell me something" pero no sé si en este caso pondría antes "what do you think? tell me something" quizá queda un poco formal?

"Tell" significa "contar", pero también "decir".
Por ejemplo si dice "She told me the truth" (Ella me dijo la verdad)

sí, es equivalente a "say" pero éste se utiliza cuando después pones el CD, lo que dice, si és "le dijo" en el que tienes que poner la persona a la que se lo dice es "tell"
