"Dissimilar" is not strange, but dissimilar and alike are opposites. You can't use "dissimilar" to modify "alike". Suzzzenn's suggestion works very well.

No I don't think dissimilar is strange, but it can't be followed by "alike" in this case. Also, it sounds a redundant to say that dissimilation makes similar sounds dissimilar even if it is true! 👁 Smile :)

I see, thank you. My suggestion was like realizing "redundance" and "oxymoron" at the same time!
