Hi everybody,

I'm translating a website about software for handicapped people and this software has two modes: an edit mode for the parents or social workers that have to adjust settings and such, and a user mode for the handicapped user, so they can't change the settings accidentally. How do I translate these two terms: edit mode and user mode?

oui, c'est la traduction littérale... mais ici dans le contexte c'est plutôt l'idée de paramétrer des options, en étant loggué avec des droits spécifiques par rapport à l'utilisateur final.
C'est la traduction française retenue par la plateforme Moodle, par exemple.
