editor's note

Hello everyone,
My friend wants the readers to communicate and share different ideas with her after reading her post, so she wrote a small passage at the end of the post to guide the readers and called it "Editor's Note." Here is the context: Monosnap
I don't know how to correctly use "editor's note," so I don't know if my friend used it in a correct way. Could you, a native speaker, help me with this question? Thank you.
If your friend wrote the post, she isn't the editor. She's the author. Only an editor can write an editor's note. Your friend can write an author's note, though.

Hello Egmont, thanks for your help. I am sorry that I didn't make myself clear. My friend is not the author and she posted other's article on her site. So in this context, does "Editor's note" work here? Thanks.
