Entry restriction?

What is the right word to describe

This is not about the entry control when we enter foreign country.
This is part of entry and exit control.
This can be achieved often by authentication system or you monitor visitors from remote camera and set restriction level of entry of people to certain building (often it is company) to prevent certain types of people from coming inside the building(often outsider maybe?).

How to say this ?
Is it entry control?
The only word I could come up with was "entry restriction".

Please someone help me ...

In broad terms, you are describing an access control system. However, this NP may be subdivided by using such nouns/NPs as "pin number, ic card, biometrics, etc." as qualifiers.

Whereas it is possible to use cameras directly to restrict access, I suspect you are describing a method not of access control but of surveillance, which is a different matter and often used in addition to an access control system.

Sorry, this entry restriction is done by "contactless ic card reader" at the entrance of the company.
It was confusing to me... many things sound so similar ....👁 Confused :confused:
