I have already seen this verb twice in job descriptions. It is about the compliance officer, a financial professional who has to check the compliance of funds with legislation.

"Investigating PAD policy breaches and taking appropriate measures where required, including escalation of significant issues to management."

What does it mean exactly in French. I've had a look in the dictionary but it didn't satisfy me at all. Could you help me please ? Thanks

I'd say: 'l'intensification' or 'le fort développement'
