Hi guys,
Is it correct and make sense to say: Escrow Pot or Pot Escrow ? Or that none of them is not true and illogical?
(In order to refer to an Escrow service / Trust accounts).
Thanks 👁 Smile :)
Do you have a particular context in mind? Off the top of my head, I can't think of any situation where "pot" and "escrow" would go together, but we'd need the context to be sure.
Thanks for your reply.
The
context is about an Escrow service that holds and releases funds.
Just found an article that was written there: "A borrower who pays $2,000 every month to the mortgage lender, for example, actually may owe only $1,500 for principal and interest. The other $500 goes into the Escrow pott, to be applied to tax and insurance bills when they come due at different times of the year".

Oh, okay. That seems all right to me, where "pot" just means "money set aside for a particular purpose." I wouldn't capitalize "escrow," though.
Thanks for your advice pob14 👁 Smile :)
. And how more correctly to name it in your opinion -
escrow pot OR pot escrow ?
