Fall break va bene vacanze d'autunno
e "vacanza" or "vacanze" ? I thought vacanze was plural. Graize mille by the way!
Italian students don't have fall break vacations therefore I think you should add a note to the translation and explain what they are ...
I know but in america some college students do and that why that sentence is about americans: "That man is is Guglielmo's grand father. He and Guglielmo want to buy many books and read them during fall break.

(Quell’uomo e il nonno di Guglielmo. Lui e Guglielmo vogliono comprare molti libri e leggerli durante la vacanza d'autunno.)
Vacanza in Italian changes depending on the context.
Ex: Ho finito a scuola. Sono in vacanza.. Holyday.
Ex: Sto comprando i biglietti, vado in vacanza. Trip.
Ex: Ehi, perchè hai spento il comuter??Sei in vacanza?? Break
Anyway, fall break would be Vacanze d'autunno, even in Italy we have not Fall break

When generic we use the plural form " le vacanze"
