Hi, what does "full page" exactly mean in the following paragraph?
The term ‘systems theory’ was coined by von Bertalanffy, although he more commonly addresses General Systems Theory (1968). According to the prefix ‘general’, the aim of the original theory is truly towards the full page as it is a type of metatheory.
Hello Nowdesheh, and welcome to the forum. 👁 Smile :)

I think the term full page is related to the taking of a full page shot on your computer, ie. leaving nothing out.

Von Beralanffy goes on to describe it as a weltanschauung - world view - and I think that's how it's best understood, an attempt at an overall comprehensive view.

I hope someone better acquainted with systems analysis will come to help you.
Thank you so much both dears
This is from "Big Data in Organizations and the Role of Human Resource Management" by Tobias M. Scholz. Dr. Scholz is not a native English speaker, though his English is excellent (far better than my German). You might want to find out if there is a German expression where the words have this meaning, and what that German expression means as a whole.

(By the way, we ask that people always provide the source of sentences they ask about.)

Thank you so much dear Egmont, my native language is not German & I want it's English equivalent. Does it mean comprehensive?
