Let's go carpool to share the cost of traveling.
Hi.

Does the phrase "go carpool" work for you? Or you'd prefer just to say "let's carpool"?
In some US dialects, "go" is added before a verb. They say "let's go eat" instead of "let's eat". In those dialects "go carpool" sounds normal. Everwhere else, "carpool" sounds normal.
I don't think it does sound normal. "Go eat" means let's go eat right now. In other words, let's eat somewhere that is not here.

If you ask someone about car pooling, it's a long term arrangement, not a "right now" thing.
"Let's go eat." means "Let's go somewhere and eat." 'Let's eat." means "Let's eat now." (which might involve going somewhere or not).
You don't go anywhere to carpool. It's not an activity that takes place in a place. The carpool comes to you and then you go with it.
Thank you all.
Are you talking about a business discussing its policy on how employees should be encouraged to come to work?
No. Imagine just some people talking to each other about ways of reducing their costs. And the sentence quoted in the OP was suggested by one of them.
