Hi!

If someone tells me "Nice to meet you", how would I answer?

The same to me.
The same for me.

Thanks!
I would just say:
"You too."
or, more formally:
"It's lovely to meet you, too."

Or, if it's someone you have heard a lot about, but never met (a friend of a friend, for example):
"It's so nice to finally meet you."
person 1: Nice to meet you
Person 2: You too

:O, I didn't know that is another way of greeting...

Is there any other?
If you are in the US, and someone says "Nice to meet you", you could say any of the following:

1. "Same here" (a little informal)
2. "The pleasure is mine" (similar to the Spanish phrase "El gusto es mio")
3. "Likewise"

I think 2 and 3 are also acceptable in British English, but I'm not completely sure.
I'm not sure there's a definite protocol, as long as the register is more or less the same. "Nice to meet you" is a fairly standard, polite greeting, so responding "Yeah, hi" would be inappropriate.

Likewise I agree with, though I find it a bit abrupt.
The pleasure is mine I disagree with. Someone should greet you with "It's a pleasure (to meet you)," before you can respond with "The pleasure is mine."
Nice to meet you, too makes the most sense, to me, or
Nice to meet you
How do you do? could be used as well. It's in a similar register, but could imply that you are not very happy to meet the other person.

These are just personal impressions, though!
