Hi, I have an English translation of Arabic song (rap). I have to translate it to Polish.

If I find in you my interest
Today youโ€™re a good guy
As soon as I have half a wing Iโ€™ll forget about you
Let me tell you give up, bro
Mind your business only.

What does it mean "to have a half a wing"?
Hi, I have an English translation of Arabic song (rap). I have to translate it to Polish.
It does not appear to be English; I suspect that it is gibberish.

Your best advice comes in the fourth line:
Let me tell you give up, bro
What does it mean "to have a half a wing"?
I have never heard of that phrase; I suggest you ask on the Arabic forum, it may be a direct translation of some sort.
I have no idea what 'half a wing' means. It's not English.

It is already a bad translation. If you translate it again it will be worse.

I suggest that you guess what it means and write something that sounds good in Polish. Who will know?

My guess would be that 'half a wing' (or something similar) is an Arabic idiom which suggests a degree of personal progress. 'Half a wing' will allow *some* flight, metaphorically if not literally.

'As soon as I have some good luck / find a better job / find a more handsome boyfriend then I'll forget about you'.

If I'm right then an English idiom that conveys a similar meaning is 'get a break'.
Yes, I'll ask on the Arabic forum. And yes, it's not the first time when there is a bad translation from Arabic to English. I've already posted some threads on WR ๐Ÿ‘ Wink ;)
