Hi, I have to trasnlate "heave to" in a word joke from a novel:
One character in a ship during a storm says to the captain: Will you heave-ho or whatever you call it? (in the novel there's no need for the captain to leave the ship)
And the captain answers: It's called heave to.
My translation is: -- ¿Vais a zampar o como lo llaméis?
-- Se dice jalar. (Not sure if "jalar" is a good translation of "heave to").
What do you think?
Thanks!
