hospital application

I know that 'candidature' is used for job application, but what about when it is a company, in this case a construction company applying to do a job - i.e. they are competing for a contract???

In this case they are doing a 'hospital application' i.e. they are applying for the contract to construct the ventilation systems in the hospital

How would you term this??????????

when it is public (administration, hospital, schools ...), the term is "appel d'offre", so in your context, it could be : "ils répondent à un appel d'offre"
