Hey!! Cómo se dice internado en Inglés?...refiriéndose a un colegio en donde los estudiantes permanecen todo el curso, sólo salen para las vacaciones y reciben visitas de sus padres semanal o quincenalmente, puede ser mixto, sólo para niñas o sólo para niños. Gracias.


Please!! Help me translate Internado ...a private school where kids live all year or semester...they only leave on vacations. They can't leave the school and most of those schools are only girls or only boys.

Boarding school has always been the common name for a school where children live at the school. My wife works at such a school and they refer to it as a "residential school" and sometime as a "residential facility."
