jump-rope

A jump-rope is also called a skipping rope. I've heard it called a σκοινάκι in Greek.
I get σχοινί άλματος from Babelfish, which seems logical enough, and then a Google search seems to confirm it. 👁 Thumbs Up :thumbsup:

(Συγγνώμη, Ανθοδοχούλα μου, μα "βατήρας" μου φαίνεται σαν "diving board." Να ψάξεις "jump-rope" στο YouTube να δεις--εκτός αν αναγνωρίσεις τον όρο "σχοινί άλματος," βέβαια! 👁 Wink ;)

If this is what we are talking about, then σχοινάκι or σκοινάκι is indeed what it's called in Greek.

A search for σχοινί άλματος only gave references to machine-translated texts (I mean, word for word it is correct, but I have never heard it called that - never trust machine translations completely! 👁 Smile :)
)

Βατήρας is indeed diving board.
