Suppose my mother died and my father is keeping her scarf. It's a keepsake. How may I combine the words "mom" and "dad" around "keepsake" to make a simple noun phrase? "Dad's keepsake of mom"? "Mom's keepsake for dad"?
In my opinion it’s mission impossible. There is no phrase as short as that which really communicates what you intend. Native speakers would choose to use either Dad’s keepsake or Mom’s scarf, without trying to combine the two ideas.
