Bonjour tout le monde!

J'éprouve des difficultés à comprendre cette phrase: "At the time I walked on the trail (Inca Trail) there was a landslip between the Sun Gate and Machu Picchu, meaning that instead of walking into the Lost City of the Incas on Day Three, we walked the first two days and most of the third and then descended into the village of Aguas Calientes to leave from there early the following morning."

Right! I had to check online just to make sure 👁 Smile :)
but both words technically refer to one and the same thing.
