I'm fishing for the right way of encapsulating this in English.

A character in a film is described: Le sport et le mental sont ses deux obsessions.

Sport and positive thinking are her twin obsessions...? Or maybe training the mind... sounds a bit clinical.

Any ideas gratefully received!
