I am translating a chapter in my Spanish class and I was wondering what the word lonchar means.

Here is the sentence:

Pero finalmente llega la hora y me formo en la fila de los niños que se quedan a lonchar.

Lonchar is Spanglish, it's not a Spanish word though. It comes from 'lunch' "lonchar = to have lunch"
