Hello,

I'm wondering how to say "lush valley" as in a valley which has many trees, grasses, and water.

Would it be: "une vallee riche"?
I suggest:

Une vallée pittoresque.

Please note that accents are extremey important in the French language, so if you are unsure how to create them on your PC, THIS THREAD should prove beneficial to you.
In that meaning, I think "vallée luxuriante" would be better than "pittoresque"
Luxuriante, c'est dans le dico, mais moi, je l'entends jamais dans la conversation...
"luxuriante" est très bien (et peut s'entendre sans choquer dans une conversation), mais il qualifie plutôt ce qui pousse. Ce serait plutôt une "vallée à la végétation luxuriante."

On pourrait dire une "riche vallée" aussi...
