Marchamo

I quote: "En la Hoja de colocación de equipo donde viene especificado el número de contenedor, marchamo y tamaño del contenedor.
El transportista deja siempre el marchamo que es el sello que se le coloca al contenedor una vez lo revisa lo aduana."

This text comes from an operations manual from a manufacturing company. I believe the word "marchamo" is explained in the second paragraph, however I need to translate it into Spanish and have no idea how to do it.

Here is my proposition:
"On the Equipment Placement Sheet where the container number, marchamo and container size is specified.
The transporter always leaves the marchamo, that is the seal placed on the container once customs revises it."

The word marchamo defines a seal that is put on boxes or containers when they have gone through the aduana. I believe the English equivalent is customhouse stamp. They must actually be talking about the número de marchamo, though, so take that into account.
Cheers,

Anna
