Hi all

Any familiar with the French for a monolithic cap. Not in the GDT.

Is it one of these? condensateur

(the combination condensateur monolithique, a wild guess on my part, gets a reasonable number of hits, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Perhaps the natives will weigh in.)

Yes, "condensateur" for short. (capacitor)

To be more precise, one would rather say "condensateur céramique" (the small, symmetric one pictured in the request) and "condensateur (électro)chimique" (for the larger aluminum cylinders, which would be destroyed under inverted polarity)
