Hi!

This is from an episode of the series Chasing Life.

"My part-timer quit, so now I'm working double shifts for the rest of the week."

I don't know if she's an employee at that cafe or if she's the manager.
Is that clear to native English speakers from the above sentence?

Thanks in advance!
I would assume it's the manager or owner speaking. If she were just an employee, she wouldn't say "my."
