Bonjour,
Je cherche la traduction de "nice-to-have" dans la phrase suivante :
"we ask you for your proper use of business stop, avoid nice-to-have requests". Merci de votre aide.
Il s'agit des choses qu'on aimerait avoir, mais qui ne sont pas essentielles / indispensables.
En effet, ça me semble logique dans le contexte.

Le style de l'anglais dans cette phrase est un peu bizarre...
Oui, je sais ... L'Anglais n'est pas la langue maternelle de la personne qui écrit !
I have this in a different context, "..speaking foreign language is a nice-to-have rather than a must-have asset."
As it's such a specific "English phrase" I'm thinking it may be better to take a different angle in French.....
The English in your example is not correct - what is "proper use" and "business stop" and how can you "avoid nice-to-have requests"? 👁 Confused :confused:

nice-to-have means (as stated above) non-essential = like-to-have or want-to-have but not must-have.
All these phrases depend on the contrast with the very common phrase "must-have" used as a noun/adjective.
Other possible ones are good-to-have, need-to-have, got-to-have and the slang wanna-have, gotta-have.
I'm not sure what other French phrases could be used! 👁 Smile :)
