Numerario

Numerario means 'dinero efectivo'. This is included in a contract so the word 'money' sounds too common for me. I would like to know if there's a more appropriate term for this word in the legal context.

Thanks!
You don´t tell us the specific use of numerario, so how can we guess which shade of meaning to suggest in English? Hard currency (moneda convertible en el mercado internacional) has nothing to do with "hard cash" (dinero en efectivo, metálico), and I would be very careful about using that term suggested above.
