Hello everybody, My question is about how to translate the English expression "online banking" in Italian.
I would like to ask an opinion about which of these 2 expressions in object to use in Italian: should it be "online banking" or "banking online" ?
The correct expression in Wikipedia and on Italian dictionaries (such as: "Il Sabatino Colletti") is "online banking" but in some Financial websites I've also seen "banking online". I think that "online banking" is the correct expression in Italian for 2 reasons:
1.Because is in the dictionaries
2.Because the word "banking" alone in Italian does not exist and so would make no sense to apply Italian grammar rules writing "banking online" with the noun "banking" before the attributive: "online".
What do you think about that?
Cheers....
