This is an expression from a car accident: He saw he was going too far to the right so he "over corrected" the rolled the vehicle.

I can't figure out a way to say "over corrrected:
Voltear demasiado?
Girar mal?

How about "viró demasiado". In Mexico we would say "dio un volantazo".
