Thank you in advance for your suggestions. I need to translate the phrase "peer coach". Would this be "entraineur de pair" ?

Merci,

Laurie
Hello Laurie, et bienvenue sur le forum ! 👁 Smile :)

I'm not sure about the meaning of "peer coach" : is that someone who is in a situation similar to the one of the person he/she coaches ? eg. an employee who will coach a newcomer... ? In that case it could be "un parrain" / "une marraine"...
Yes, it is someone who is a co-worker who trains others - this is for a lapel pin that a customer is having made up to recognize employees who do an outstanding job in this area.

Thank you!

Laurie
How about "moniteur aupres des paires" ?
ok, so is this some kind of reward ?
parrain/marraine would fit if they were appointed to coach someone - but not really as a kind of honorific title, an acknowledgement a posteriori...
I'm not sure I'm being very clear 👁 Frown :(
In French business newspeak, coach is common. So just as pedestrian exit is sortie piétons, how about coach-collègue for peer coach?

Best wishes
Greg
or on a humoristic note: "super-collègue" 👁 Big Grin :D

(with the hyphen, otherwise it's not fun anymore... Ou tout attaché : "supercollègue")

We don't use much the word "pair" (appart from specific contexts, such as in court...)

le "collègue du mois" (as we have "l'employé du mois") ?
