The Big Bang Theory Season 03 Episode 21

Sheldon: Oh, Leonard, I have something for you. this is your 24-hour notice that I will be having a non-related female spending two nights in our apartment.

Shouldn't it be "as per"?
If not, does "per" sound more stilted and pedantic than "as per"?
The page you linked confirms what Rover said (at least the most upvoted answer found thereon does): "per" and "as per" can both be used to convey the meaning of "in accordance with." Some people will, however, object to such use of "as per," some to such use of "per" and others will rather use something else (that would be my choice).

Garner (AmE):
as per. In accordance with; PER (3) .• This phrase has traditionally been considered a barbarism, per being the preferred form in commercialese <per your request>. But even per can be improved on <as you requested>.
